- According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, from July 2019 through June 2020, the state had 87,707 licensed beds with an occupancy rate of 84.29.
- In 2020, the monthly median cost of a private nursing home room in Pennsylvania was $10,828, the 16th most costly nationwide. A semi-private room cost $10,038.
